Optymalizacja MySQL

Witam, mam mały problem z MySQL potrafi po kilka razy ciągnąc po 128Mb, a dopiero strona i forum są w budowie sleep.png.

Jak można ją zoptymalizować by oszczędzała ram ? rolleyes.gif

Po pierwsze wraz z przybywaniem użytkowników to zużycie nie wzrośnie za wiele. Prawdopodobnie używasz InnoDB, które lubi przytulić RAM.

Po pierwsze wraz z przybywaniem użytkowników to zużycie nie wzrośnie za wiele. Prawdopodobnie używasz InnoDB, które lubi przytulić RAM.

 

No właśnie nie do końca - w wypadku InnoDB dużo łatwiej jest ograniczyć zużycie RAMu niż w wypadku MyISAM. InnoDB w zasadzie potrzebuje RAMu na swój pool, natomiast w wypadku MyISAM masz cache tabel, cache zapytań, bufor do sortowania, bufor do zapytań, bufor do joinów, bufor na klucze indeksów, record buffer - do przeszukiwania bez użycia indeksów, oraz kilkanaście innych duperelków, które pewnie pominąłem.

Optymalizacja bazy danych nie polega na tym, by jej przydzielić jak najmniej RAMu. Napisz coś więcej o aplikacji - jakich używa silników do tabel (MyISAM/InnoDB), czy ma zoptymalizowane indeksy, ile przewidujesz rekordów w tabelach, ile będzie tabel.
