Witam. Zakupiłem nowego VPSa i próbuję skonfigurować na nim Squid'a. Używam configu podpiętego w tym działe. Oto co Squid mi wysypuje przy próbie uruchomienia:

Skoro tak mówisz... Jaką książkę byś polecił do nauki "podstaw podstaw"? Przydałoby się żeby traktowała głownie o konifiguracji sieci na linuxie i była w miarę aktualna

Hehe wiem że kablem Chodzi mi raczej jak z jednego kabla podłącza się do sieci cały klaster i do tego każdy ma inne IP

Jeśli chodzi o ten link, rozumiem że trzeba zadbać o odpowiednie warunki itp. ale mnie bardziej interesuje połączenie tych wszystkich maszynek w jedną całość

Witam Od paru dni czytam sobie o serwerowniach, o ich budowioe itp. Jedyną rzeczą jaka mnie interesuje a nie mogę jej znaleźć to w jaki sposób serwery:

-mają podciągnięty dostęp do internetu?

-jak się nimi zarządza, jak zbudowane jest to że możemy na każdy serwer "wejść" i zobaczyć co się na nim dzieje?

Czy znacie jakieś materiały dotyczące tego? Nie chcę czytać książki nt "budowa sieci domowej" tylko konkretne zagadnienia tyczące się serwerownii tak samo tych mniejszych, jak i tych mniej małych

Ja korzystam z usług SDC dopiero miesiąc i obecnie działa mi na nim serwer proxy (kto wie o co chodzi, ten wie ). Miałem spore wątpliwości co do firmy, ale okazuje się że jest OK Dostatecznie szybko odpowiadają na tickety, z serverem nie mam problemów. Co prawda nie jest to wielka maszyna (12GB SSD, 512 mb ram, 1 jajo 1.5 Ghz) ale narazie daje rade i jestem zadowolony.

Witam. Chcę na moim VPSie uruchomić serwer proxy Squid. Jednak program Screen sprawia mi problemy. Komenda startowa Squida wygląda tak:

/etc/init.d/squid start

Problemem jest właśnie ta jedna spacja. Screen pojmuje to jako dwa wyrażenia Próbowałem to obejść aliasem, ale ni hu hu...

Witam. Od jakiegoś czasu korzystam z serwera VPS. Niestety przestał mi on starczać, może i da radę korzystać z niego jak z dysku w chmurze (ale bezpieczniejszego ), ale np. wysyłanie na niego wielu plików gdy chcę wykonać jakieś bardziej złożone obliczenia jednak potrafi upsuć krwi i czasu Dlatego też chcę kupić małą maszynę do domu. Zdaję sie na was ze względu na to, że sam o tym mało wiem Na serwer planuję przeznaczyć max 500 zł, ale im mniej tym lepiej Jedynym wręcz śmiertelnym wymogiem jest jego niska prądoźerność. Mogę przeboleć mniejszą wydajność, ale ma żreć jak najmniej prądu.

Jeśli macie jakieś konkretne propozycje, albo wskazówki czego szukać, to z góry dziękuję i pozdrawiam!

Masz troszkę głupi problem Jeśli włączę aplikację serwerową na VPSie i po prostu wyłączę komputer, po włączeniu go po prostu nie mogę użyć tego serwera jako klient, w sumie to nikt nie może (chyba?). Gdy jestem ciągle zalogowany na VPSie i po prostu wyłączam komputer, co się właściwie na nim wtedy dzieje?

Z jednej strony nie chcę zostać zrobiony w [ekhem...] przez SDC, troszkę złego się o tej firmie naczytałem.

Ale Mintshost mimo że wygląda ładnie i w tej cenie sądzę że są dobrym wyborem, gdy ma się 14 lat ta cena i brak wiedzy może boleć

Zapytałem się go, czy nie udostępnił by mi troszku zasobów maszyny. Powiedział że ok, ale nie wie jak to zrobić ;_; Stąd pytanie, jak udostępnić zasoby przez VPS pod systemem Windows (z dostępem przez SSH)?
